Air conditioning works, but smokes?
 

I just added a can of freon to my ac, and the compressor kicked on, was blowing cool air and the whole nine!! well, after a few minutes of letting the car idle while refilling the ac, the car started smoking!! I think it might be the compressor but i'm not sure. The compressor was making sounds before tho, so thats what leads me to think its that. Has anyone else had this problem?

To static test the compressor.
With the car cool and not running, car keys in your pocket, grab the face -plate on the front of the AC compressor and turn it. Best to have a glove on for this test.
If the face- plate is hard to turn by hand that is usually a sign of a bad compressor.

ITs 100% its the compressor m8, i had the exact same thing happen in my dad olsmobile 98.

We do not know 100% it is the compressor. There is no way for us to say that with certainty. It can be said that if there was noise before and now there still is that it is most likely the compressor.. however based on your experience with one other car..you can't condemn this one.

Where exactly is the smoke coming from? Was the car in motion while it was running? Fluid from an engine-related leak could have dripped onto something hot such as the exhaust manifold. The source of the smoke would help isolate the cause of the problem...obviously, if there's no smoke when the AC is turned off, but there is when it's on, and you haven't changed any other factors, you have your answer.
