Default SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

I have a 1994 Bonneville SSEI. Been having alot of problems with it. Service engine light is always on, the car just started shutting off as I was driving it. Sometimes it would restart right away, or sometimes it would have to sit for 20-30 minutes. Sometimes longer before it would restart. Took it in for testing, only thing that was read bad was throttle postion sensor. Replaced that. Still the same thing happened. Then looked on here and read and thought maybe it was crank sensor. Well, that helped for 2 weeks. Ignition module has been replaced all new plugs and wires. The 2 weeks it ran without shutting off. But that didnt solve nothing. I would come home from work, have an hour in between when I got home and having to pick my son up from school and when I would go out to get my son from school, the car wouldnt start!! Turns over, but wont start. If I try it an hour after that, it will start. Also, drove it a week ago 3 blocks to the store, and spent 10 minutes in the store, when I came out, same thing wouldnt start. Finally started after a half hour and that was the first time I had drove it that day. ANYBODY have any advice on what I can check? Im ready to push it over the ravine and let the midnight train take care of it!!!

This could be your turn pass key.
It does sound more like a secruity issue than mechanical malfunction?
Do you have only 1 set of keys for the car? If you have another set you could try them the next time it wont start for you?

Fuel pump maybe? Did you replace the coils when you replaced the spark plugs and Wires?

Im in Davenport, Iowa and I only have one set of keys. The coils werent replaced when the plugs and wires were. Somebody said maybe it was the computer, I bought the car used, and was told from the mechanic that it has a remanufactored computer in it. He thinks it was replaced in 2002. I bought the car in April of 2003. We thought maybe it was fuel related....lets just say Im not comfortable driving the thing at all anymore, it always dies on busy streets to and from work at rush hour.

Are the 94'* OBD 2? I have a digimoto that can pull the codes, or you can head to autozone.

I live about 40 minutes from Davenport.

I had a similar problem with a 95 buick parkave. It was the mass air flow sensor. Try with the car running tapping with the handle part of a screw driver on the maf ,if it stalls the car out or makes it run real rough that might be the problem.

No, 94/95 are OBD1 with OBD2 codes. Your digimoto may or may not scan it.

MAF sensors will not prevent a start.

We need a scan and codes before tossing any more 'ideas' out there. This could get expensive very quickly.

lastnite i replaced the ECU ran great all lastnite. Got in it this morn and ran fine. It sat for 2 hours and wouldnt start. I got out and checked spark there was none. When i told my wife to try in the primer pump i think thats wat its called on the drivers side by fender clicked on the the car started. Is there a pressure sensor that wont allow the car to start if it doesnt have enough fuel pressure to the fuel rail? What is a MAF sensor and where is it please let us know. My wife is threatening to push it over the tracks.
