Default Projection thingy on windshield?

Noticed the projector tonight, after months of never noticing it EVER.
Asked my friend who I bought the car from, he said it worked for a while, then when the steering wheel broke(i forgot what exactly happened, it just got really loose i think?), the projector was super bright and didn't actually project anything, then finally gave out.

Any common fix for it? No big deal, but it'd be cool to get as many little things fixed as possible.

To the left of the steering column is the controls for the HUD (Heads Up Display). Check to ensure the dimmer is not turned all the way down, then look in through the windshield for a greenish light. If you see that, then the display is simply tilted so you can't see it. Adjust the tilt until you can see it from the drivers seat.

Have it undimmed all the way and tilted to where I can see it and it doesn't display anything.

I'd check fuses etc. It'* pretty uncommon for them to go bad.
