This probably should be moved to a new topic, however, If I do end up replacing the water pump, I'm debating on if I should go with the electric pump by Meziere. It looks like it'* worth it. Anyone have any experience with these?

I have one sitting at my house.

It appears to do it..you'd need a little piece from a 2000+ that bolts where our ps pump bolts to and pushes the pump to the back about 1.5 inches. When you replace the pump with the electric..your belt path comes off the ps to the tensioner down to the crank pulley. If you look at your current configuration..you'll notice the ps pump/ crank are probably too close to make that happen.

I'm sorry, are you saying that for the 99' the electric pump will not work?

Pretty much. Unless you consider maybe changing how the ps pump mounts to the motor by adding a small piece that the 2000'* have. This piece pushes the pump toward the firewall about 1.5 inches.

Thanks!
I'll ask the manufacturer what they have to compensate the distance.
