why does it shut off when its hot out?
my 92 ssei,i swear it'* possesed.it just got a brand new aluminum radiator,fresh coolant and the thermostat has like 300 miles on it.i wired the fan 2 be always on when the engine is running,but its still gettin hot and randomly shuts off when its really hot outside.let it sit for 5 or 10 with the hood open and it will fire back up and go again for who knows how long.runs like a dream when it is not hot out.any ideas any 1 ?

Could be a bad crank sensor when it gets hot it will shut off and then fire up again my 94 SSEi did that I changed sensor and no more problems. Good luck

ya i have thrown my spark tester in the glove.and am gonna check it next time it does it.thanks.will let ya know.but its supposed to be rainy all weekend,my bonnie runs like a champ when it less than 70 out.

IIf possible check engine rpm when cranking.
I you can read rpm you hve no spark in any cyl replace ICM
if you cant read rpm you need to check ICM wiring and CKP sensor and wiring
