99 SSEI 'CCR' OPTION REAR STRUT ISSUES

Ok,,I think I have a handle on this from reading all the posts in search, but I have to ask this for the guy replacing them on my car:

I'm going to get the Monroe 71798 Struts for both REAR sides, the right rear is bad according to dealer-with both lights on in console.

Question 1: This is an air strut, so the current airline that is already there from the CCR Struts gets hooked up to this, and the other electric connectors for the CCR just hang or get tied somewhere, right ???

Questions 2: Front struts are ok, but no one has referenced them at all for replacing with the CCR option already there. Any part #'s for me from anyone ??

I have found RockAuto has cheapest price on these , and Monroe is running "Save the Squirrels" promotion,,buy 3 struts get 4th free by rebate,,so I figure now is good time to get all 4...

Thanx.

In your PM to me, it seemed you had ELC and CCR confused. CCR has nothing to do with ELC at all. Two totally different systems, so the ride control buttons will not have anything to do with ELC, which you will retain by connecting the air lines back up.

Just leave the CCR connectors hanging, and the system will no longer work.
