seized o2 sensor on 95 ssei
has anyone else had this problem? I went to change it for the first time, after borrowing the proper tool from the local autoparts store. i could not budge it. i then took it to my local mechanic and he was unable to loosen it. any idea'* would be appreciated.

You don't need any special tool if you are not trying to save it. Cut the wires just above the sensor (ie - not on the harness side) and use a deep well socket or just disconnect the wires and use a big old pipe wrench*.

*This was on my wifes L36 powered Olds which may have more room to work than on a Bonne. Worked great.

Maybe try applying some penetrating oil, let it sit and work its magic.
Did you try getting it off while the exhaust was hot? The minor heat expansion might just be enough for it to come off

I usually use a torch to heat the pipe around the O2 sensor red hot and cool it real quick with water. The shock of the water will break the rust and prevent you from pulling the threads out with the sensor. If you cant get a torch then try some PB Blaster
