Default 95 SSEi Misfire leads to Stalling with Restart

I read the codes out again on my 95 SSEI and came up with a QDM-4 fault P1670. I would like to disregaurd this because I know my check engine light is burnt out or at least it will not come on. I do not feel this code is pertainant.

The specifics of my problem I am having with my 95 SSEi is as follows: When the car shifts into Overdrive it will run fine until I have to apply acceleration to say adjust speed for a grade and then it will stall, Consequently I drive the car in drive and at hiway speeds over 1/2 throttle to full throttle I experience a misfire and a stall if I continue to push down the throttle. With the car in park if i rev the engine by slowly pushing on the throttle the engine will rev fine however if i quickly slam the gas down it will misfire all the way up to the red line. If I try to accelerate fast from a slow roll I have to slowly push on the throttle for if I move to quickly I will stall, however if I slowly push the throttle all the way to the floor the engine will cough and gag it'* way up the RPM ladder and I would experience what I call "good" acceleration.

So to summerize, quick movements of the throttle lead to a misfire, which leads to a lack of power, and therefore stalling with restarts. I have no current codes that would indicate a problem other than the QDM-4 failure. Further the most critical part in my throttle is when the supercharger starts to engage. Typically when I'm driving I will push the throttle down to just before this point (about 1/2 throttle) and let the car accelerate as best it can.

I just replaced the PCM in the car and fixed a QDM-1 failure (Boost Control Solenoid) and a misfire at all RPM'* (PCM). My car has what appears to be a new ignition control module, new Autolite plugs, and new Bosch platnium plugs. Thanks for the help.

Only because of other members experience with Bosch plugs burning out quickly I would suggest pulling and checking them, if not replacing them. For some odd reason Bosch products really don't play well in these cars.

It does sound ignition related... I'm at a loss though.
