Default Spark Plugs

how often should you change spark plugs? my parents have kept the same six plugs in our 1993 SE with 121,000 miles, that came with the car. thats like 11 almost 12 years and 121,000 miles. that cant be great for the car in my opinion!

No idea but I definitely would throw in some new ones. Cant even imagine the difference it would make for you when it made quite a difference for me after only 10k or so miles.

I don't know if the plugs in that car are any different than mine but I have 112K on a '96 Bonneville and it runs fine. I just bought a new set today and will change them soon...... just because.

My '96 service manual says 41-606. Owners manual says 41-921. Delco site, dealer and parts stores say 41-101. I bought the 41-101'*. Not sure what I'll find in there when I change e'm but I am pretty sure it is what came out of the factory.

I have at least 70k on mine, and they are rusting at the base.. they are the delco'* that came with the car, well, the model number at least. I don't remember the number, but it was written in my owner'* manual, and it says that number on the plug.
