Default 97 Bonni stall while driving, no start, gas in air filter and vac hoses

I have a 97 bonneville. Standard 3800 motor. 215k miles. I was having no problems with this car at all. I filled it with gas and 9 miles later it stalled at 60 mph and will not start. It will turn over just fine but will not fire. When I popped the hood there was gas dripping out of the air filter and vac lines. The sensors are wet now, possible causing some of the issue. But what may have caused the stall so suddenly like that? Do I need to clean all the sensors on the intake? Oh it was a speedway gas station and I always get my gas there and never had any problems. Thanks for the help

Sounds like you lost the fuel pressure regulator. Pull the vacuum hose off and I bet you smell gas.

Yes, I have pulled the vac hoses off and they are wet and smell of gas. Is there info on here about fuel pressure regulator fix?

Thanks I will check that out. Is there a way to tell if it is bad or just replace it?

If you turn the key on you would see gas squirt out.

Then you have found your problem. Replace the FPR and all should be good.

Take out the spark plugs, I wonder if you hydrolocked the engine. Once the plugs are out you can crank it.
