Dashboard lights don't work
Hi, I have a 1993 Se Bonneville,
The System monitor doesn't work and the "Security" light as well,
What could be the problem?
Do I must take apart the dashboard?
Thanks.

Check the fuses. There should be a litle box under the dash on the driver'* side, and if you take it down and look at the lid, it'll tell you what fuse is what. Look for "Instument Panel". If either the box isn't there or there'* no label for the fuse placement, check your manual (if you have got one).

Is it that the lights that allow you to see the dash at night are not working, or is it the displays that are not? The '93 SSE that I worked on, everything stopped working but the speedo and tach. I don't recall if the security light still worked or not. If the latter is the case, then yes, you'll have to pull the dash.
