The headliner in my 94 B'ville (with moonroof) is coming loose at the back right and left corners at the rear windshield . The headliner is in good shape so I don't need to replace it but just want to reattach it. Can anyone recommend a good adhesive and technique to use?

I have exact same problem. Is there any way to fix it without having to replace it? How much to replace if I have to? 94 SSEi with moonroof.

Did some research on the subject last night and found there really is nothing on the market other than some screws you can buy that go into the foam backing. Other than that, the only real fix is to have it replaced. This can be expensive, especially if you have a moonroof because it has to be removed in order to do the job right. If done properly, the tracks will be cleaned and lubed, and drain holes cleared of debris at an average cost of between 300 to 400 dollars for the whole replacement. One article I read said most people will use thumb tacks as a temporary fix, but the problem is they sometimes fall out and you end up sittin down on one (ouch). I used a regular stapler as a temp fix for mine. The staples go in nice and flush and I have not had a problem with them falling out. You may want to try this until you can get a repair.

The other option, which is still a pain, is to carefully remove it and then glue it back up yourself. Saw a real neat example of customizing the hedliner on one of those Saturday Morning cars ahows on TNN.

Got mine done today. Cost 135.00. Found hose to passenger side rear drain plug had pulled loose. Now I know where the water was coming from. The guy at the shop used some clamps to tighten the plugs down on the hoses so maybe they will not come loose again. Very good job, looks factory, took about 2hrs.
