95 Bonne Column Shift Lever Replacement
 

Anyone know how to replace the shift lever? Went junkyarding today and got a good one (mine has the rubber split on it), and I just punched the pin out of that one and pulled to get it out. I know there is a spring or something that has to meet up with it in the column to pull it back into place but not sure how to reattach it.

Is this possible w/o tearing the entire column cover off?
