Which Factory Injectors are the same as 92 SSEi ?
I've edited the title of this post because the old title no longer applies, as I've found new info.......but I still have questions, see the most recent post at the bottom.
Does anyone know the Dealer part # for an Injector O-Ring kit for a 92 SSEi ?
The Dealer ordered one, but 2 mechanics as well as myself, don't think it is the correct one.
Does anyone have any experience using this dealer O-Ring kit ?
Thanks in Advance,
Dutch

You can also get the Fel-Pro ES70599, it comes with 4 o-rings (you need 2 per injector). The GM kit is about $67, the Fel-Pros are about $5 per kit, works out much cheaper.

Go to AC Delco and you can look up your car.
http://198.208.187.182/internet/Vehicle.jsp
AC Delco part # 217-1379 around $15.00 same as GM # 17113544
Then for later model 3800 Delco lists # 217-454 around $40.00 same as GM # 12537425
Both sets have size –203 o-rings wonder why the price difference?

Ok below are some pics of what I got, when I ordered the O-Ring kit from the Dealer.
The part number they list for a 92 Bonneville is 17113544. They said it is the same for all 92-93 Bonnevilles */C and Non */C. 94+ is a different part number which I have asked them to order to compare.
Notice the part number.
Look at the size difference of the spacer rings.
I don't see how the O-Ring will even fit with the new spacer, as it is much bigger and leaves very little room for the O-Ring.
Is this everyone else'* experience with this kit ?
Thanks,
Dutch

I don't remember any spacers, I just replaced the o-rings, straight across old for new and reinstalled.

I checked out your car domain page (nice walkthrough).
The pics of your injectors still have the original spacers on them.
The original spacer is what cracked in half in my picture above
Thanks anyways,
Dutch

Just thought I would update this & share some info I found out the hard way.
I found this info after speaking with the parts guys at a Dealer, I regularly deal with & after speaking to AC Delco Tech Assistant.
The Injector O-Ring kit from the Dealer is the same for all years of Bonnevilles */C & Non.
The difference is with the application:
If you have a Series 2 Engine you can use the Spacers that come in the kit as Series 2 engines have different Injectors with replaceable Spacers.
If you have a Series 1 Engine like me (92-93) you only use the O-Rings from the kit.
If you break the original spacer on the injector your pretty much screwed as there is no replacement for the spacer that I have found.
This leaves you with 2 options buy a new Injector for $260 (List price) my price ($192) OR go to the Wreckers and try to find one off a */C GM (Bonne, Buick etc.)
Here is a list of GM cars with the same Injectors as a SuperCharged Series 1 Bonneville 92-93, this is according to the Dealer. Also all the Below vehicles must be */C or they will have different Injector spray volumes & resistance.
92-95 Pontiac Bonneville
92-95 Olds Regency 98
95 Olds Delta 88
91-95 Buick Park Avenue
95 Buick Rivera
AC Delco Says:
V6 3.8L 231cid GAS FI * Engine VIN = 1
1995 BUICK PARK AVENUE ULTRA
1995 BUICK RIVIERA
1995 OLDSMOBILE 98 REGENCY ELITE
1995 OLDSMOBILE DELTA 88 ROYALE LS
1995 OLDSMOBILE DELTA 88 ROYALE LSS
1995 PONTIAC BONNEVILLE SSE
1994 BUICK PARK AVENUE ULTRA
1994 OLDSMOBILE 98 REGENCY ELITE
1994 PONTIAC BONNEVILLE SSE
1993 BUICK PARK AVENUE ULTRA
1993 OLDSMOBILE 98 REGENCY TOURING
1993 PONTIAC BONNEVILLE SSE
1993 PONTIAC BONNEVILLE SSEI
1992 BUICK PARK AVENUE ULTRA
