I just want to confirm that the exit pipes on my 1998 sse is 2.25". I am going to be doing new exhaust tips.

You better measure. My stock tips were 1.75" each. 2.5" everywhere else.

i dont mean to be an *** but just grab a ruler or a tape measure and your good to go. if the size is based on quarter inches you should be able to measure it without error.

If you had a 92-95, I could tell you with a higher degree of certainty, but even then there were some weird configurations from the factory.

Then there is the possibility of aftermarket work.

If you plan to spend money (good hard-earned money) MEASURE. Don't take chances.
