Gator... best advice was given by Jr's3800

Go to walmart..in the housewares section there'* a large steralite container..bout 20x30x4. Put that under the pan before loosening bolts. It'll hold the 6 quarts you will let out.

The gasket goes on dry. Reuse the old gasket if it'* metal with rubber imbedded and is in good shape.

The filters are a wiglgle while pulling down. They can be stubborn.

In the kit there will be a little sleeve. They are tough to put in and take out. It'* up inside where the filter goes. If the new filter goes into the old one nice and tight..then don't use the new one. Most of the time you run a greater risk of scoring or scratching the internals of the trans trying to remove and install the new sleeve.

Credit where it'* due Don.. you saved many a spilled quart of fluid.

Gator.. also when you are underneath taking out the 20 or so bolts.. start removing bolts from the most pointed side. That way it will drain some from that end of the cover first.

Torque wrench is a must, torque specs are in techinfo. Should be the same for all years.
