Default 94 Boneville Problems

Hello all.

I recently replaced the head gasket and had the heads machined and new valves and seals put in, now the car stars but it pops and makes other weird sounds also the exaust seems to be getting red hot, as well as there is a smell of gas in the oil.

Does the head needs to be brouhg to TDC?

Any sugestions..?

Thanks.

If the oil smells like gas, you might have a head gasket leaking. Check compression on all cylinders.

When putting the heads back on did you get new head bolts? The bolts are a torque to yield bolt and are not able to be reused. This may be the problem.
