I have searched the forum on the topic of stalling. However I do not seem to find a incident with other members (I could be wrong). I will be driving in my 95 SE (non-supercharged) around town running errands. The car is at normal operating temp and everything functions correctly. I go to apply the brakes and the engine stalls..after about 3 attempts it comes back to life. At one point while driving down the interstate, it 'acted' like the engine didn't want to accelerate and held at 2000 rpm while depressing the accelerator. Then it just suddenly acts like it got a shot of nitrous and goes to accelerate.
It did this twice. Acting as if there was inadequate fuel delivery basically. This only happens maybe once or twice in a month. Any other time it runs like a champ. No sufferage in MPG either. Below is a list of parts i've installed since I bought it.

New Fuel Pump
New Spark Plugs
New ECM
New Alternator
New Starter
New reinforced UIM
New Tensioner Assembly
New PCV kit (apparently 95 Bonnies don't require the spring for the PCV, however mine does because it makes a very high pitched noise with engine temp increase and created reverse vacuum...would literally suck the oil cap back down when trying to remove it)

I have a '95 L36, and there is no spring on the PCV. But....it should not pull vacuum on the crankcase at idle. Sounds like you might be missing the o-ring on the underside of the PCV valve. If that doesn't stop the suck at idle, you may have another vacuum leak somewhere. That is not normal operation. That vacuum will pull your lip seals inward on the ends of the crankshaft and cause them to wear in an unplanned way. This can eventually result in a leaking rear crank (rear main) seal requiring engine or trans removal for repair, so it is not a trivial concern.

I had random stalling issues that were cured by the third (yes, third) replacement PCM. My symptoms were similar but not exactly the same as yours. Your description does kinda sound like it might be a fuel pressure issue.

The symptoms were pretty close to yours, and the problem was bad LIM gaskets.

I agree on the vacuum. The brake booster pulls vacuum

Well there is good news to report on my stalling problem. It turns out that the problem was in the ground buss' located on the driver and passenger sides inside the car. The trunk had 'sprung' a leak. Both buss' were very wet with water. Took the buss' apart and dried them and filled the black casing with silicone to keep moisture out. Also found the trunk leak and fixed it as well. Wasn't easy tracing the leak but found it after noticing the padding under carpet was damp. As far as the vacuum problem, since I installed the new PCV from GM which included the spring, I've had no problems since. Thanks for all of your help and input.
