Why can I....
Why can I rev to 5k in park? Oh i know it'* horrible wrong, and bad, but I didn't hit a fuel cutoff before 4k so i tried it???? I was doing it carefully on good Oil pressure and a warmed up engine, but what about the limiter? :?
Between this and my firm shifting i almost wanna peek at my PCM, and see if it'* stock.

you know what last week i was at a car show and while leaving we were wating in line to get out of the lot and al lthe ricers started reving there cars and i figured what the hell..................... Hit 5k in neutral and when i left off it sounded like i had a blow off valve....there were a few that even asked if I was turbo'd............
it was really weird I was expecting to get to like 3k but it kept going all the way to 5100 RPMs
maybe the 93 SLE'* are just in there own category
Hard shifts eh?? 2nd gear just about rips the steering wheel out of my hand.....

Too Funny. . . . .I was just thinking the same thing about my '92. On my '94 Port it is like 3200ish and so is Ryan'* '94 SE. But on by newly aquired '92 SSEi it is also 5G'*. Crazy?!?

well we have 3 93'* that can do it, and a couple of 94'* that can only get to 3200
general consensus that the 93'* dont have a limiter (captain obvious)
one more reason that 93 is the best year

My 95 has a limiter....only pick off about 3,700 RPM'* before the cut off starts cutting off........Weird....But I got some good firm shifts. Really firm and positive....not like slamming into the next gear, but when it upshifts it pulls during the shift and puts you back in the seat just a lil farther.
