92 se Charcoal Canister Question
What all the does the Canister connect to? mine connects to two things the throttlebody and to my fuel tank thats on my purge valve. then theres a connecter that says air that isnt connected to anything just has a cap kinda thing on it.
Its warn down pretty bad hangs half off. I was wondering if any other 92 owners would know? on the canister the valve on the side with cap says air, the fuel tank line is connected to the right spot, the purge valve is connected to the throttlebody so i dont know what it would be purgeing

The purge valve opens (vent valve closed) to apply slight vacum in fuel tank. The fuel tank vapors are pulled from fuel tank through the evap canister into the intake. This routine is run by the PCM to basically check the integrity of the Evap System. Normally the purge valve is shut, the vent valve is open.
In response to your original question, it sounds like your connections are correct - front connection to the tank and middle connection to the throttle body.
The 'cap' on the rear 'AIR' port isn't really a cap, it'* more like a partial cover (it'* not air tight).
This is the way it'* connected on my '92 and '93 (both are supercharged).
