SSE/SSEI from 92-95 are identical.
SE/SLE from 92-95 are identical.

Major change in trim/fenders/hood/front and rear lights and spoiler in 1996.

SE/SLE the same from 96-97, 98-99 SLE shared the same body as the SSEi.
SSE/SSEi are identical bodies from 96-up.

hood? I though they just changed the grille? well, anyway Will I know what U mean, Actually U can't tell them apart (92-99 SSEi body styles unless your up close or behind one, but SE'* to me are way easier to tell, cause those front bumpers are more squared off than later model SE'*.

Also, from 98-99 the SLE has chrome trim insted of black like the SSE/i (my sig but mines is a 92) that'* the only way I can tell them apart from SSE'* and i'*.

My goof. Hood is the same. Headlights changed, and so did the fenders to mate with the different corner lamps.

As willwren stated above the SLE used the SE body in 92-96. They had the SE cluster.

In 98-99 the SLE (with SSE body) didn't have the SSE dash, it still had the SE dash and interior.

From my understanding the hoods are a little different, the lights are at a different angle and the grill piece is a different shape.

Question no.1 The differences from the SLE and the SSE was that there was a chrome trim on the outside window strip, no badging on the trunk for the SLE, no air pump or electronic load leveling, no compass or electronic guages for the Driver information center, dash board is similiar to an SE pretty much.

Question no. 2 Just the outside shell. But again the chrome lining outside the window is on the SLE(All refering to the 98-99 SLE)
