Need Series 2 Supercharged Vacuum Info (96+)
Hi all
Could someone with a series 2 sc motor please check their vacuum reading at the main distribution (main port is where the brake booster hooks up).
I think I've either got a leak or a cluster issue.
My reading is ~15in HG'*
Thanks
EDIT: per conversion my gauge is pretty accurate. Now..I've got a vacuum leak and can't seem to find it.
Have tried carb and TB cleaner
Checked EGR
Replaced a cracked EGR tube.
Double checked vac lines.
Only thing that I'm not sure of.. i replaced the EGR tube and nothing changed.. have sprayed liberally with tb cleaner and no change.. hmmm

Well, I just did mine. About 19.5 inHg at idle with nothing turned on in the car. It went down to 17 inHg with the A/C on full and rear defroster on for more alternator load.
I'm not sure how accurate my gauge is, but it seems close to what I remember my scanner and MAP sensor saying the pressures were.
Hope that helps.
