Default Low Coolant Level Light On

The low coolant level light comes on intermittently in my 1993 SSEi. Just replaced the radiator. Cleaned and checked the sensor connector. No leaks and fluid level is fine. What, other than a failing sensor, would cause this? Is there any way to clean/refurbish the sensor? How expensive is a new sensor? What else should I be looking at? Thanks in advance!!!

I just fixed this on my 93 for the second time. Seems like every couple of years the sensor decides to go. Each time I tried to clean the level sensor with no luck. I just replaced it for about $30 from Advance. Some have just unplugged the connector and let it go. Either way, but just make sure to keep an eye on your fluids.
