Is this a car with a ELC Electronic Level Control. Or do you have something like a air valve that you filled with a air compressor?

Just to clear things up, the original poster is my father. Its an ELC from what I understand. Pushed the button to inflate but doesn't know how to deflate it or even if its necessary. The car is new to myself as well as I haven't had a chance to see it yet to assist. Please help if you can. Not filled with an external air compressor.

The ELC will change the pressure it's self. No need to let the pressure out.

Thanks. I will let him know as he is also new to posting on forums and sometimes needs outside assistance. Much appreciated

Thanks for your help. I have ordered an owner's manual, so I will be able to understand more about it .

This is my first Bonneville, and love it.The previous owner had it oiled every year, so he told me. There is not a mark or a bit of rust on it, and is in beautiful shape for a 1998 with 177 thousand km on it.
Thanks again for your help
