About how much would it it cost for decent quality plug wires, fuel injectors, fuel filter, and a tranny filter cost?

Wires - anywhere from 40 and up
Injectors - not a "tune up" item normally, and SPENDY!!
Fuel Filter - about 5-10 bucks, another 5-10 or so (max) for airfilter (don't forget it and PCV valve - 5-10)
Tranny Filter - was about 13 or so when I fot mine. You do not need a new gasket!! And it'* a messy job....

What'd I forget?????

How about a 180* t-stat ($8-10) and don't forget to put tranny fluid in there. Get some TB cleaner too.

What is the deal with the 180 degree t-stat? Seems like most people have them as a mod.

Well, it is almost more of a insurance against cracked upper intakes (both Series I and Series II, but Series II mostly). It also helps to keep the engine closer to it'* peak power range, which is negatively effected by heat.
