I keep reading that you should use the aluminum lower intake gaskets when changing them out, but when I type the part number( 89017816) in any GM part sites, it only lists the supercharged engine for the year 96. Are they not avaible for the SE models?
If thats the case Should I use GM or Felpro?

It'* a GM only gasket. Fel Pro will still by the nylon frame.

The part number is different between the supercharged and NA gasket sets. However, the parts are identical. I have had them side by side on teh parts counter for a comparision and they are identical. You can use either set in either motor w/o issues.
