I'll try to check things when I get home. But places like Autozone have a box of studs. Just need to match size. Spray lots of penitrating oil on it to help loosen it up. Heat it if possible

If possible, I would wait for Billboost to chime in. I'm sure he has a trick that will make the mount jump out on it'* own.

OK, I'll keep checking back in here in between trying to get it out. And when I successfully get it done, I'll chime in to how it was done, in hopes of helping others out in the future.

That would be great. I'll modify the write up to include this information.

I should have updated this last week. Sorry.

I don't think my experience will be much help in showing people any easy ways to do this. I had to take off the part that holds the coil packs on just to be able to make enough room to get the engine mount bracket out of the way enough to remove the water pump.

It was still a tight squeeze but I got it done. It took me all day to do it though. While taking off the coils, I had a hard time getting the nuts off without twisting the battery grounds and basically ruining the ground cable. I went to splice into the cable to put a new end on it and the wire under the coating was black so i just put a whole new ground cable on it.

Anyway, I don't want to discourage anyone, but since I went into this blind it really was a pain. If I had to do it over now, I could probably do it in a couple hours or so. I guess, all I can say is, it wasn't an entirely easy job, but it was worth it because I probably would have sunk a grand into it if I took it to a shop.

Think of it this way. The next job you do will be easier. You will become more sure of yourself with each job you do.
