Heating and Cooling Blower Motor Problem for 98 Bonneville
My 98 Bonneville, equipped with a Delco electronic climate control (Delco part number 16220102) has a blower issue. Sometimes the blower blows air and sometimes it does not, even when on the max heat or max cool settings. When adjusting the temperature the blower speed indicator lights adjust properly but the blower motor does not. When it works properly it works until the engine is turned off. When engine is restarted the blower may or may not work. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot / fix would be appreciated.

Are there any odd noises when the blower works that would indicate to you that it'* a blower motor going bad?
If no..then most likely your issue is the blower control module. This module is located under the maxifuse relay center and is held into the blower hvac box on the firewall (under hood) by a few 7mm screws. From the dealer..it'* quite expensive and I'd suggest checking local junkyards.

No noises at all. I have had the car for 3 years. From the beginning I though that the blower was under powered. The car has always beed slow to heat or cool. Once proper temperature was reached it maintained it fine. I am going to replace the blower control module and see what happens. Thanks for the help!!!!!
