Default 2 different fuel pumps for 94

I hope someone can help me quick..I need to replace my fuel pump and am going to have to order one...maybe...depending on which one i need. Apparently they made two different ones for the 94. :( I even talked to parts at the Pontiac dealership and gave them the vin. They still don't know which one it is..until it'* taken out. I will have someone to do it tomorrow, but I need to get the part today, if possible, so I can get it finished tomorrow. My car was made in March. Does anyone know if I need the one that is a CAC, or the CRC???? HELP!!!! Please...............Thanx

Sorry to tell you, but they're right on. 94 was the oddball year that used 2 different numbers, but only if you're not supercharged. You need the 25117021 if your SENDER is coded CAC, or 6443570 if your sender is coded CRC.

You MIGHT be able to see this with an inspection mirror and flashlight, assuming there'* a label on the top of your sending unit. It'* located in the forward top portion of the tank.

You might get luicky though, as GM ususally attaches this "Label" to the actuall Sender Harness is most cases. It'* a very small label with 3 letters on it too (about 1" long X 3/8" wide). It can be white or yellow too.
