Car Not Starting Making Noise
Hi, help I have a 1994 Bonneville and its the 3.8 motor, plenty of oil in it not leaking and has a lot of miles on it but wont start. It makes a weird noise. Could either the oil pump, timing or crank shaft sensor be shot?

Almost is like a clicking noise loud, but it wont start at all. Again plenty of oil in it. I thought maybe it was the oil pump which if it is, how difficult is it to change it? Would that make it not start at all>

We need to isolate where this noise is coming from.
Are you able to tell where this noise is coming from? The starter area? Are you able to have someone stand over the engine while you attemp to start and located this noise?

Its coming from the motor area, I know not alot of info, sorry but again the car sounds like it wants to turn over but makes the noise that sounds like its clunking, the only thing is I thought maybe the oil pump, fuel pump not getting oil or even crank shaft sensor, but again its loud. What could cause a car to run just fine and then park it over night and then not start and sound really loud and bad when trying to turn it over? Could the timing belt have just gone?

Can you take a look at your starter? Even remove the flywheel cover by any chance?

It turns over just wont start, it doesnt just click. I mean if it was the starter wouldnt it just click? Ive had starters go before or it was dead and wouldnt do anything if it was starter right?
