Default 1993 sse Whining noise when idle.. now when moving as well

Almost sounds like a supercharger.. after doing little research ( very little ) I found something about a plastic intake manifold part that could cause it? How could plastic cause a whining noise? To me, I thought it might have been the torque converter.. ANY HELP ?????

Can you tell what side of the engine is coming from? Belt side or intake side? Front or back?

If you rev the engine a little in park, does it change pitch?

Default YES.. gets higher pitch

Thats why I thought it sounded like a supercharger ( OBVIOUSLY , the sse I have does not have supercharger.. ) so blet related may be ? But what am I reading about this "plastic" part in the manifold that causes this to ? I dont want this thing to crap out. Its a sweet ride'!

Well, depending on the year, it'* possible to get an SSE with SC.

I don't know what part in the manifold could cause a whine. Got a link? Maybe I could figur it out from reading what you did. Normally, I wouldn't expect a whine to strand you, save for a bad alternator bearing. Is it kinda whirry, airy, or more mechanical, possibly electrical sounding?

alternator replaced within last 10,000 .. sounds more like a whirring noise.. kind of hard to explain.. LIke... ok.. u know those little cylindrical toys kids have, they blow into and theres that little fan in there that spins, and makes the ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ NOISE.. kinda like that...

Try this. Take off the intake tube and have a look at the screen in the TB. Damage?
