Today i cleaned my motor, dried it off did everything it said. Let it run for awhile and whatever. About 3hrs later i went for a ride with my g/f and we pulled into walmart parking lot and it started screeching like belt slippage. Not a biggy i said. So i get home and its louder. Not its crazy loud. When my car was running i tried to take off my oil filler cap and it had crazy air suction in it like it wouldnt let me take it off??? When i got it off the car kinda sputtered a bit but stayed running. Can anybody help me out on this?

The oil cap is holding in crankcase vacuum. If you unplug a vacuum hose you get the same effect, if you don't kill it.

The screeching is probably your belt. Is it at all RPM? Mighta got water in some bearings on a pulley?

yup clean the entire belt area with just a dry paper towel.. or a rag. Some belt dressing should fix yas right up, but if you have to spray it on there often to keep it from slipping.. a new belt is in order.

Yup. Belt dressing in a spray can. But please also check your PCV valve. Better yet, just replace it and make sure the O-ring is in good condition.

I replaced the pcv valve just 10mins ago. Thats wasnt the problem. So i started the car the screaching comes about 5seconds after i start it the continues to get louder. When i pull off the oil cap the screeching goes away. When i go over about 2000-2500 rpms it goes away??

I strongly suspect a problem with the pcv you installed or the O-ring. This is typical of that type of problem.

Do you still have the old one? Is the o-ring intact IN the upper intake, or is it on the old PCV?

DeeGee, it is my definite opinion that you have serious vacuum leakage at the PCV Valve. -could even be a defective valve ?? The OBVIOUS clue is vacuum in the crankcase when you remove the oil filler cap. This should never be. (-by the way, the "screeching sound" is caused by atmospheric air finding it'* way into the engine, past gaskets, crankshaft seals, and where ever else it can squeeze it'* way in). -just to verify, I'll bet the screeching goes away just as soon as you remove the cap.

If you haven't already fixed it, then I'd remove the pcv valve again, and inspect things real carefully. (-you may need to find someone with the same design setup, and carefully remove and compare.)

I took my car to my dealer (still under warrante) He took a look at it. He said he has never seen anything like this before. So another mechanic came out looked around didnt find nothing. He look it up on a service bulletin. And they said it could possibly be an exhaust valve rocker fell off. So now tomorrow i bring it in the shop so they can fix it. I could do it but why get my hands dirty when theyll do it for free

It sounds to me like your PCV is working fine. It'* the other end of the equation that is not working. If you stop and think about it, the PCV (exhaust side of the system) is sucking crankcase air like it should through the manifold and burning it. Now if you are pulling air out of the crankcase, you must replace it or you will create a vacuum, which is what you discribe. The screeching sound you hear is air trying it'* damndest to get back into the crankcase through the filler cap. I believe the normal crankcase intake is through the air filter (logically you want clean air pulled in there. remember the little breather elements inside the round air cleaner covers, that was the intake side of the PCV). Without a manual in front of me I am not sure where it is but I would look for a hose coming from the air filter box. Make sure it is not pluged or crushed. Bottom line is the crankcase air is being evacuated but not replenished.
