are you talking about the odometer (measures miles) or the speedometer (measures speed)?

no problem. if it'* exactly 47,000 miles, that sounds really fishy to me. He may have turned it back or stopped it in order to claim the car had less miles than it really does. what year is it? Digital or normal odometer? (with the turning numbers)
