I recently developed a brake fluid leak just to the rear of the brake fluid tank. Right out of the bottom of where those 2 bolts go in. Anyone know what i'm talking about, and do i just need to get a new gasket or something

Yes that is what i'm talking about. I don't know what you mean by booster though. If you were to look at you reservoir. There would be 2 bolts right behide it. it'* dripping from the bottom of there. thanks

Right; what he said. In my case it'* not leaking into the booster, but is leaking to the outside... anyhow, gotta get that fixed soon.
(I remember working on an old Cutlass where the booster had gone bad and would apply the brakes by itself, hard, as soon as you started the engine. That was seriously weird...)

I have the same exaxtproblem the problem is there are seals inside of the master cylinder and yours like mine are worn so when you hit the brakes fluid slips by the seals and leaks out the back. The only solution to this problem is to get a new master cylinder. They arent that expensive I bought a rebuilt one for 65 dollars but you can prolly find a new one for just over or under 100 dollars. they arent that hard to put in but just remember to bleed the brakes after .

I had the same problem also! The master cylinder had to be replaced, although I still don't understand why the seal couldn't be replaced instead of the whole master cylinder. I'm sure there is a good explanation.

If you have any idea what your talking about you should know that there is not supposed to be fluid between the booster and the master cylinder. And yes you can rebuild the master cylinder but it isnt practical you can go buy the rebuild kit for about the same you can buy a rebuilt one for. :?

You need to chill out. There is no need to be ranting because someone else doesn't know as much as you think you know. This forum is for all to learn and share. If you want to rag on those that don't please you, maybe you should find a different forum to do it in. :(
