[1993 Se Bonneville] Lack of power

The car runs the same as before, no hesitations or cut-off, car runs fine, it just feels like something is providing it from going forward.
At 35mph~ it feels like the thing which providing it from going forward - is disappear.

I must say, this whole thing happened after the came back from the garage, where they gave it a good tension for the handbrake cable.
Of course we immediately suspected in the handbrake tension so we took it back to the garage and released it a bit, seems fine.

We still have the problem, What should I check ???
BTW, I can see the car has a lower gas millage now, I mean after the problem accure

Thanks.

It certainly seems to me like you need to investigate brakes some more. It may not be the e-brake cable, but you may have a stuck caliper or pad.

That's what I thought, but my dad says that if it was a stuck caliper then we could have smell the brakes while driving. Is he right?

Could it be a vacuum problem? maybe something related to the tranny ?

Honestly..starting with the most recent repair being checked usually works the best.

It could be anything at this point. Checking vacuum is a good idea.
