Hello from kansas, just bought a 91 LE with 215000 body pretty rusted but interior and motor in great shape. this is my 2nd bonneville first one was a hand me down from older siblings. unfortuanatlly I do not have the time today to search for tips on replacing window motor, was hoping some of you vetrans on here could direct me to the threads that cover this. I so far have the two rivits that hold it to the door skin but are there more that hold the motor onto the tape assembly? and is there any tension on the motor itself that would need to be relieved before I screw anything up. I bought this car to hold my family in since the law frowns if I put wife and two kids in a single cab 72 F100. thanks you for your time and help.

Hey there, I just had to pull this on my '87, this was how mine went. I had to pull the lock actuator, which was held by 2 rivets, and if memory serves me, I believe there were 5 rivets, 3 on the regulator motor, and 1 at the bottom of the reg tape guide and 1 at the top, near window sill. Make sure you have the window clamped into the top of the window-frame, this will make the re-install a bit easier, and you will need to power the regulator to feed the new tape (I'm guessing your job) after it comes out of the door. My assembly all came out in one piece,reg and guide. This job was a bit of a pain. Good luck.
