Default Horn and drivers side passenger door problems

Hi in Bonnie land I hope everybody is doing good.. Last night as we left town to go home I heard a click like a electric lock .We got home and went to open the drivers side passenger door it wouldn't open from inside or outside . It worked perfect since we got it from the salvage yard the pass side rear door never did work now we have both back doors not working., How do you take out the pass. back rest seat. Tonight when the wife was driving in the driveway she honked the horn twice then it quit also.I think the car wanted to stay at the salvage yard.in the land of the dead. Can I send some pictures via email of our car to be put on bonneville forum. duncan

Sounds like there is an electrical probelm growing big. I'd look at your battery connections for curosion. Trace all the wires and check ou the relay box in your engine bay. I would check all your fuses inside the cabin too to see if any or blow. For the back doors I would take off the panels and check for broken linkages. there are these pastic connections at the end of the linkages that tend to break. The horn can also be the "clockwheel" in the steering well. but for now I would stick with the fuses to start with your door and electrical problems.

Yes I would like to know how to take out the pass. backrest seat that is the only way I can see to get the rear door panels off. When I push the unlock switch the little black handle on pass. door lifts up and goes back down a little but still no open door.On our 89 Bonnie SE the back doors had lock and unlock switch . Our 91 Bonnie only has black up and down slides. Thanks for the help.

I stopped in town this morning to pick up some WD 40 and chain lube with molly to work on our rear doors on the 91 Bonnie. Before heading to my friends place I sprayed the chainlube into the outside
door pushbuttons on all 1 doors. I drove about 18 miles got out of the car and from habit tryed to open the drivers side pass door whitch hadn't been working for a couple weeks and to my astonishment it opened just like it always opened YAYA. I drove to a small body shop and a good friend and he helped get the pass rear door fixed. We had undo the door panel as much as we could so my friend could get his hand in to pull on the rod to open the door. I lobed all the mechanisms and reinstalled the door panel. THE DOORS OPEN NOW great. Sorry for the long winded post Its so great to beable to open the back doors htanks for all the help. If I can get the horn to work that would be awseme duncan
