ok, last night i went out to my car, started it, and i was like, why aren't my headlamps on? i look down and my Twillight Sentinel dial is on. i fiddled with it and nothin. so i ended up hit the main switch. and my lights come on??? i see there isnt a fuse for the Sentinel? what am i missing?

Take it out and check the connector ir might need to be cleaned... Maybe the switch is going. And look at the head lamp fuse....

Sometimes the light sensor goes bad.

That is what Twilight Sentinel is... It senses when it is dark outside, and turns on your headlamps. It also leaves them on for a few minutes after you turn the car off.

i got it to work this morning, well it doesn't have to sense the light anymore, i put the sensor under the dash so it always thinks its dark out. i just replaced the switch though, and it works good as new now. lol yea as far as i know, the bonneville has had it from at least '87. i know in 88 they made it standard on all SSE's.

book shows it as an option in 87... although i didnt get it... :(
ill just have to build cooler electrical tyhingies into the car... :D
