hmm H2G3 is the number I got off of my 87.
wrong thing?
and they went from 90deg 3.8s (buick grand nations/ maybe cutless/monte)
Then They started to balance them out and made them 60deg 3800s????

JR'* infomation is accurate.
Custom88 ??? You bring me shame :( You know all Buick V6 engines were 90* - right ? Just kiddin Dan
LN7 = 90* 3.0 - 8? to 87?88? I dont actually know the years but the FWD 3.0 was used as early as 82 in Century and until the 3300 (also 90*)replaced it.
LG2/LG3 = 90* 3.8 86-87 last run into some early 1988'*
LN3 (C) = 90* 3800 88-91
L27 = 90* "Tuned Port" 3800 91 - L36 1996?
The 60* was the Chevy 2.8 & 3.1 engine, 3.4 DOHC also 60*
Tomburt - In addition to the fullsize BOP (Buick,Olds,Pontiac) cars JR. mentioned from 88-91 you can also find it in 88-91 Riviera,Reatta and Toronado but the 91'* may have the L27. Also certain specially ordered (as in option) FWD Regals not sure what years, I dont think any Regals came with the 3800 in 88. Most Regals you will find will most likely have the 2.8 or 3.1 Chevy engine.
Anybody know the #'* for the FWD SFI distributor engine used in 85 and perhaps earlier ?
The B U I C K V6 may very well be the most used car engine of all time, now exceding two decades of corporate use in FWD cars and even longer if you cound the RWD'* of the mid/late 70'*.
