Default so this is normal?

It seems like it is taking longer than it should to get to that last shift, it is usually at 3500 to 4000 rpms. I already have a tranny cooler installed, would this still be a good idea?

From articles I have seen on the 4T60, the modulator controls the shift feel and the TV cable controls the shift point. It is apparently a little different from some other transmissions in this regard.

Default Hallelujah!

My darling wife gave me another night to work on the bonne, and man did I take advantage! I put in the new modulator and adjusted the tv cable, made 2 slight adjustments on the modulator to get the tranny shifting the way I like it and she runs like new. Shifts at 3000 to 4000 rpm depending on the terrain and cruisin at 60 and 2800 to 3000 rpm. I hope all that sounds like good #*, because she runs and shifts great! I'm going to bed now, its 6am. Ck your replies later!

At 60 I would expect the RPM to be around 2K or slightly less.

Default ok, so what now?

what kind of adjustment needs to be made, the modulator or the cable? :?the last adjustment I made was on the modulator and that brought things to this pt. Should I loosen it some more?
