Does this era of bonnie'* have heated mirrors. We got a butt load of freezing rain last night and i was sitting in my car with the rear defroster on, and the ice on the windows started to melt.

I never bothered to notice, but the setup would likely be that the heated mirrors come on with the rear window defroster.

It is a feature with the rear window defroster. It describes the heated mirrors in the manual.

I have never noticed it in the manual, never really looked for it either. I knew it was when the rear defrost came on, just thought with an older car they didnt install it

It does come on with the rear defroster, and if your mirrors have a blue tinting to them, they are heated.

Yea it'* an option.... I had to take one of my mirrors apart years ago and noticed that they were infact heated.

I remember checking the manual at that time, and not finding any info about it.
I did some tests and found out they come on w/ the rear defrost.

Default mirrors

Thats good to know guys cause I unplugged my fuse to the mirrors thinking it was just overworking the alt. for nothing in the cold weather.
If they only go on with the rear defrost maybe I'll plug them back in.....Thanks
