damnit, damnit, damnit! just went to start the bonneville and boom no start, just crank....after a few key cycles it started and ran for like a half a sec, backfired and died again....grrrrrrrrr my experience says the fuel pump is bad :? same thing happened in our old saturn with the exact same symptoms... is replacement hard for this car, and if it isnt that hard whats involved in doing so... and if muscle is needed i can call my mexican slave, he owes me so much ****, im like 2 cents from literally owning him

never mind it ******* started, it was the damn battery, its not putting out enough power to start it, but enough to crank it and it didnt sound like a slow crank, sounded normal too.....and its not that old either its like only 2 years old damn napa gold batteries, im replacing it with an energizer one when i get some cash :?

AH HA! I knew it!

Our cars HATE dead batteries. They love their current. Good thing you realized it was the battery before you dropped the tank and realized it was just a stupid battery

I have a 730CCA battery that'll crank my car all day long if the starter could. I'd recommend getting somewhere around 800CCA...make sure it'* 800CCA not 800CA, btw

EDIT: Don't forget to clean your battery cables too. I ran into starter problems, just because of a little corrosion on the battery cables. And don't forget the dielectric grease on them either.
