I've been struggling with this problem since I started working on my Bonne... The power seats and the power doorlocks went away when I removed a wire running from one of my 30A fuses, through the dash, to my power door lock relays (the ones that clip next to the relay box behind the glove box.. ) I've replaced quite a few relays, and looked through the wiring schematics found in the FSM, and tried to find the common circuits that they use to fix this problem... I think that they are related some how, since when I removed that wire, they both stopped working... This problem is really confusing and frustrating me... Does anyone have any ideas? I've replaced the relays in the relay box, checked all the fuses (litterally every fuse I verified continuity), checked connection blocks that they share (the ones under the door sill cover, above the rocker panels) and still no luck. When I press the lock/unlock buttons, I can hear the relays click, and when I push the buttons for the power seats, I can hear relays click under the console, but nothing works...

Any help would be appreciated!

Does your rear defrost work cause it is on the same fuse.

Yeah, the rear defrost works... so thats why I'm thinking that its a common circuit somewhere, but I just can't figure it out.... its starting to drive me nuts, and I feel bad for the person that sits behind the PS seat, since that seat is all the way back... so they have no leg room.. I'm just glad that I had my seats setup before I pulled that wire out...

Looking at the FSM and my eyes are crossing. Do you have the AU0 RPO code? How about factory security option?

That wire that you removed sounds like a previous repair, right?

Yeah, its an SSE, so it has the security, and yes, I have the AU0 code...

The wire was run to the middle wire of one of the door lock relays... so I don't know what he was doing.. it came from circuit breaker 23, the breaker for both the door locks and the power seats... which makes no sence to me... the relays click when I push the door lock buttons, but none of the acuators work, and I have power to circuit breaker 23...

I've been pouring over the FSM myself and still can't figure it out...

A quick thing to look at before I can put my nose in the book again is this:

When a brass fuse tap or a simple Bend-the-wire-over-the-fuse method is used, it can sometimes open the fuse box contacts wider than the thickness of the spade of the fuse or in this case the circuit breaker. You may have 12v at the contacts but it might might not be touching the CB. Simply do a visual check of the two contacts in cavity 23 to insure that they are making a good connection.

If this was a "jumpper" to the door lock relay, is there voltage on the wire that it was previously connected to with the jumpper removed?

Well, if that was the case, then the rear defrost wouldn't work, but I did check that out already... and I do have power to both sides of that breaker... I've also tried jumpering it myself, with no luck... so I don't know what is going on with it...
