Tranny Messup

Hey everybody, I'm new here and just purchased a 1988 Bonneville LE. The previous owner drove this car to **** and the tranny needs to be replaced, probably. So I was wondering if anyone could help me out with removal and installation directions of the tranny, what I will need to do the job, and if no one Knows how maybe where I can find somewhere or someone who does. The car has 280+ kms but it only cost me $60 so any help would be useful, maybe then again maybe not, anyways whatever.

Removing and replacing the trans isn't something someone is going to be able to talk you through. It'* a complicated involved process.

I suggest you buy a Chilton'* manual or the Factory Service Manuals. Please also put your year and trim level in your signature. It'll help people to know what you drive when they reply to your topics. Your location in your profile may help too, as someone near you may have a service manual or scantool, or may be able to help you.
