Brake Lines brake lines oh god brake lines
Have a question.......Any one have any idea what it costs to replace all the brake lines on an 89? I am facing the reality that my brake lines are TOAST! and I think its better to get em all done then to try and fix whats there.....

Like I would let Canadian tire touch my car.....you are crazy.....I wouldnt even let em change a tire....HAHAHAHAHAHA. I will get it done at a GOOD garage

If you are getting all the hard lines replaced, i'd say that'* 3 hours or so of hard labour [Randy {randman1} has replaced more than I have, so he may have a better estimate]. Not going to be cheap, bud.

I don't know about cheaper in the long run, but eventually those will have to be replaced if they look questionable now, you may as well do them at this point. If you are getting the fuel lines replaced too, then you will start getting pretty expensive, becuase doesn't the tank have to be dropped to get them all off?

Dad ended up forking out $220 or so for a blown tranny line maybe a year ago (spewing onto the exhaust manifold, smooooooooooke tail!). Crappy Tire touched it only because it was an emergency repair, it blew near his work, it was a $16 part.
