code 44. can anyone tell me whats wrong.?
hi today i was driving home and about 10 minutes from home my check engine light blinked for abpout 2 seconds and then went off and stayed off.. so when i got home i checked with my code reader and i got code (44)..
in the book of codes (code 4) states this
lean exhaust indication - oxygen sensor voltage stays low after one or two minutes of engine run. (left sensor or dual sensor engines.)
and thats all it says... can anyone tell me what my actual problem could be? do i need a new o2 sensor? thanks john

More than likely its your oxygen sensor causing this, also check for vacuum leaks..
I would get that code randomly in my old sse once i put in a new o2 it was fine...
