Suspension settling
As you may [or may not] be aware of, I removed ~300lbs of parts from my engine [sound about right, guys?]. Doing this, causing the front end to raise up way too far up. My rear end is sagging, but not a whole lot. Probably no more than 1" lower than it should be [or normally is]. My engine may not be fully back together, but I would definitely say I have 90% of the weight back on. Should the suspension have settled by now, or will that only come when the car is back together, driven, and the rear end back to ride height? I am just kind of worried that something is screwed up with my suspension, because I have 100k+ [they may be original, but I cannot confirm this] shocks and I have no room in my budget for replacing them as of yet.
On a side note, by baby will probably get fired up today [75% chance], but definitely by tomorrow [Monday].

I find that my car, if jacked up or anything, doesn't really settle back to normal ride height until it rolls a few feet at least, and or is jounced a few times. The suspension just has a bit of friction, and in the case of jacking it up and setting it down, the tires also need some movement (forward or backwards) to go back to their natural position beneath the car. I think you'll be fine.
Good luck with that startup! I know it'* been a long time coming for ya.

the rear end could just be sagging from the lack of the rear leveling. stuff does leak.

Yes sagging it pretty normal. Of course i say this generally, because i thought my car was "normal" until i found out why the rear end is so low. Busted coil springs both sides. Make sure and check that. That'* worse-case of course. Thats why it happened to me. Lol.

I know the rear end sags because my compressor is removed.. so that'* normal. Been sitting where it'* been sitting since about 1week after I pulled the Compressor.
I hope you guys are right.. kinda looks like I am WOT in 1st gear going 15mph and snapping my neck.. it'* pretty bad.
Thanks for the luck, although it didn't help. I just got in from cleaning up, and although I got her done "enough" to crank her over, I couldn't get her to fire. I couldn't see a damn thing at the end, so I just called it a day. I am too ******* tired to even type everything I did. I'll fill you guys in, in the morning [in my Top End Rebuild thread, of course].
