Default 1987 Bonneville wont fire

I know that this is probably a repeat question, but here goes. 1987 Bonneville and has 90,000 miles on it. Been quite well maintained ( Grandama gave me the car when she stopped driving ) and has never given me any problems. I went to start the car and when I hit the ignition it never fired but sounded like it turned over rather quickly. Tried again and it coughed and sputtered for a couple seconds and then ran fine. I shut it off at the store and she has not roared to life since. I check for fire and only one coil, the one closest to the plug on the module was firing. I took the ignition module, crank sensor, and cam sensor to the local store to have them checked. Ignition module is supposedly bad. So i borrow one. ( I'm laid off and the holiday season is a great time of year for that, so i'm being cheap, don't scold me too bad ). I put it on and i get no fire at all. Now i'm really frustrated. I dont believe the timing chain or gears have ever been replaced, but right before she stopped running, i thought that i heard a little rattle towards the front of the engine. Could she have jumped time and would this keep her from firing. I'm sorry for the run on talk, but just really frustrated and sure dont have the cash for another car. I love my Bonneville. Looking for some help. Please. Thanks.

How do you know it'* a firing issue? Is the check engine light on? Most times a firing issue will throw a check engine light.

Do you know any history on the fuel pump? Being 20 years old, I'd highly suspect the fuel pump. Can you hear the whirling noise when you first turn on the key?

Yes i can hear the fuel pump and i did have the fuel pressure tested which test fine. I pulled all the plugs and they were soaked with gas. Would bad fuel pressure cause the engine to "not" fire?? The ignition module that was on the car tested bad and the one i borrowed did test good. With the old one i had fire on one coil only and the one i borrowed has no fire at all. The check engine light has come on and gone off a couple of times over the last 2 to 3 weeks, but went out when i restarted the car.

Default fire

Usually we ask that you verify spark at all 6 spark plugs then check for fuel injector pulse.
Thats after you checked and cleaned the battery cables and engine grounds.
Could be a bad signal from the crank sensor or the coil pack went out but we don't know until you give us the feedback of your tests.
