Default Ram Air?

I was looking under my hood and was trying to figure out a way to run a home made ram air setup. Does anyone know a good way to route it? Doesn't seem to be much room on the driver side.

Short of taking out your headlight, there ISN'T an easy way. Us 92-99 guys have the same problem. You either cut a hole in your hood for a scoop, or find a way to bring it over from the middle. Not an easy task. If anybody does figure out an easy way, they're my hero. For life.

Hmm--I have to look a little harder. I noticed on an older Z24-it had the small stock scoop on it--the way it was set up the air cleaner was plumbed into the scoop--sort of like a cowl induction setup. I wonder how that would look grafted on the Bonne hood? Or something similar.

I took a look at a GTX once at a local dealer. It has a 3800 as well and may give you an idea on where to pull fromI believe that it was a CAI in a box. The box was feed through a channel molded into the hood from the scoop. . I really don't remember exactly how it was setup anymore but I think that was close.

Don't waste your time. Small surface area on the filter, and it gets pretty restrictive down the tube. You're better off with an unshrouded cone filter in place of your airbox.
