hey guys whenever i turn my bonnie and give it gas(kinda hard) it make some noise like something is broken or flexing. could it be the engine mounts? because i know those are going out

Sorry about not getting to this sooner. Sometime we miss post'* on busy nights, etc.

Turn and giving it gas will flex everything on the car. You could have suspension parts going bad, chassis bolts and spacers, engine, tranny mounts etc. Does the noise happen when turning one way and not another?

With the engine and tranny mounts, you can figure those out pretty easy by starting the car, putting the brake on and giving the car a little gas with it in drive and reverse. You should be able to hear the same noise you hear while turning, which will point towards a mount or two. You can also feel or hear clunks when putting it into gear.

What kind of noise? A clunk, grinding, or something else? A bad axle was the first thing that came to mind.

im about 80% sure its the engine and or trans mount. i will be replacing those soon and let everyone know. is there a better brand to go with or a good place to get them from i was thinking moog
